Each panel of today's cartoon touches on perils that we face, from Maserati Joe Manchin's incremental backsliding, to the Trumpist right's manifest bigotry against a yet-unnamed Supreme Court nominee who will be a black woman, to the "I'm done with COVID" selfishness that ignores still-struggling hospital workers, to the cab riding Tom Friedmans of journalism looking for Dems to reach across the aisle unilaterally because that's what he projects the "common man" wants.
