More Pieces Of The Insurrection Puzzle

To know the comings and goings of the Malignant Loser's goons before and during the January 6 insurrectionist attack on the Capitol may assist the House Committee investigation by more clearly knowing the who and when of the conspiracy. So this WaPo report about his visitor logs and appointment calendars is welcome news:

"President Biden has ordered visitor logs from the White House during President Donald Trump’s tenure to be turned over to the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol.

The former president claimed the logs were subject to executive privilege. In a letter Tuesday, a White House lawyer rejected the claim, saying the National Archives should provide the records within 15 days to the House committee.

'The President has determined that an assertion of executive privilege is not in the best interests of the United States, and therefore is not justified, as to these records and portions of records,' White House counsel Dana Remus said in the letter."

As the report notes, the Malignant Loser's White House staff wasn't exactly meticulous in keeping logs of visitors, but it's hoped that some clues and evidence might pop up to bolster the Committee's growing case. As he has in the past, he may attempt to block their release in court, unless he's already torn them up and flushed them.
