Long Ago And Far Away, Cont.

Mostly street scenes from 100 years ago in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, London, Berlin, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Paris, Nice, Geneva, Milan and Venice.  One thing is for certain: with the anarchic traffic conditions, driving or walking these streets would have been a significant health hazard!

Interesting stuff, thanks for posting. Curious that that one street in Amsterdam was so jammed with people standing still -- no room for cars at all.

Infidel-- I'm wondering if it was a street along one of the canals; I seem to recall some were too narrow for cars, but accommodated bicycles and, of course, pedestrians.
