It says 'Russia is too strong,' that Ukraine should make a 'painful compromise' and give up some territories to Russia. The U.S. must understand the futility and stop 'taunting' Russia, the editorial says. Meaning: Ukraine will lose anyway, stop helping it so it’s over faster.
"In short, the editorial attempts to pass off appeasement and betrayal of the free world’s values as pragmatic reasoning." -- part of an editorial in The Kyiv Independent excoriating the New York Effing Times for its eagerness to negotiate an end to Putin's war in Ukraine that would benefit and encourage further aggression from the Russian war criminal and dictator. Are they being advised by pragmatic "realpolitik" war criminal Henry Kissinger? Regardless, whether it's their unwillingness to confront the reality of the anti- democratic Republican cult, or their Chamberlainesque smugness at signing away Ukrainian territory and liberty, the Times has clearly lost its moral and intellectual way.
