I think the American people are going to learn facts about the planning and execution of this that will be very disturbing.” (our emphasis) -- Rep. David Cicilline (D-RI), previewing the upcoming House Select Committee hearings on the January 6 insurrection. In truth, it will be disturbing to all but alternative reality-based Trumpists, who have called the seditionist insurrection everything from "legitimate political discourse" to a "normal tourist visit."
The televised hearings will begin at 8 p.m. Eastern time on June 9, and promise to be eye-opening, and as Congressman Cicilline said, disturbing.

I had a cool comment ready right up to the point where where you said "alternative reality based trumpist". Now I have to start over. I work with a group of people based in alternative realty. I have it on good authority that after Next November, Biden and Harris will be impeached. Donald Trump will be installed as speaker of the house/president. Then he will choose the method of execution for Biden and Harris. Any member of congress who protests will join them. The Supremes, acting with lightning speed, will endorse his return. The job of rooting out anyone not supporting trump with enough enthusiasm, will fall to the militias and the churches. Ok I added the part about the churches. That wasn't my co workers. That would be my pop in law. He's a prosperity gospel Pentecostal preacher. He isn't going to let anyone do any crucifyin' without proper supervision.
