Giving Putin's war machine a taste of its own medicine inside Russia, a drone strike on the Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery in Russia's Rostov region this morning caused a major fire and disruption of its refining capacity. The Guardian obtained a video of the attack, with the voices of Russian refinery workers narrating the action:
“'Do you think it’s Ukrainian?' asked one.
'Of course not,' another answered.
'Where’d it go?' he added, as the drone vanished from sight.
Moments later, a large explosion rocked the refinery.
'Fuck!' yelled the onlookers. As a fire began raging at the refinery, the unidentified cameraman said with a resigned tone: 'That’s what’s happening, guys.'” (our emphasis)
