News Item: Trump organization CFO Allen Weisselberg is reported to be nearing a plea bargain with New York prosecutors regarding the financial chicanery of the Trump Organization. However, Weisselberg has declined to testify against his sugar daddy, the Malignant Loser. Nonetheless, the conviction of the organization's top financial officer tars it with the brush of corruption, as former Federal prosecutor Andrew Weissmann noted on MSNBC:
"The reason that is important for Donald Trump is the Trump Organization is scheduled for trial in October. Once Allen Weisselberg pleads guilty, it is over for the Trump Organization. The crimes he committed, get imputed to the Trump Organization. So, the leverage in terms of the financial consequences to Donald Trump doesn't mean he's gonna go to jail, but the consequences for the Trump Organization are huge." (our emphasis)
Bringing down the Trump Organization, the Malignant Loser's original and most important brand, will be a psychological as well as a financial blow to him.
News Item: Yesterday's announcement that disgraced buffoon and drunken Trump mouthpiece Rudy "Toot Toot" Giuliani is now a target of the Fulton County, GA probe into election fraud should provide some measure of justice for his deceitful, malicious peddling of the Big Lie. Whether it does or not remains to be seen, but an intriguing question is whether Giuliani will deliver any goods against his "client" or claim, as he is doing, "attorney-client privilege" -- which is null and void if the matter involves criminal behavior. Our guess is that he'll clam up and take the hit for the Malignant Loser.
Giuliani is also under investigation by the Federal grand jury looking into the lead up to the violent Trumpist insurrection on January 6, and his role in the "fake electors" scheme in several states.
