The radical, Christofascist right can't help overreaching on social issues, most significantly on women's reproductive rights. Despite what happened in Kansas (or perhaps because of it), they'll zealously push their extreme position (national ban on abortions, no exceptions; limits or bans on contraceptives; end to same-sex marriage, etc.). They're on a mission to force America into their warped, American Taliban mold, regardless of the public's wishes.
