Legendary jazz composer and pianist Ramsey Lewis passed away this week at age 87, leaving a celebrated legacy of impeccable music spanning jazz and pop genres. Winner of three Grammy awards (including for our song today), Lewis was given the National Endowment for the Arts' Jazz Master Award.
