Conservative Rep. Liz Cheney is following through on her commitment to oppose Trumpist cult members running for office. She was in Arizona yesterday speaking at Arizona State University and blasting Trumpist candidates Kari Lake and Mark Finchem, candidates for Governor and Secretary of State, respectively:
"They both said that they will only honor the results of an election if they agree with it. They've looked at all of that — the law, the facts and the rulings of the courts, and they've said it doesn't matter to them. If you care about democracy and you care about the survival of our republic, then you need to understand, we all have to understand, that we cannot give people power who have told us that they will not honor elections." (our emphasis)
Another Trump cultist, election denier Blake Masters, is running for Senate for the seat occupied by Sen. Mark Kelly. Masters, in a deceitful bid to fool moderate and independent voters, has flip flopped on the issue of women's reproductive choice, having supported an extreme "personhood" law which would made abortions illegal from the point of conception.
