Iran's notorious Evin Prison is ablaze, with 4 prisoners reported dead. Evin hosts many of the Iranian regime's political prisoners, and there are reports that the fire is linked to the increasingly violent protests following the death of Mahsa Amini at the hands of Iranian "morality police" who objected to her failure to wear a headscarf.

It's worse than you say about the young woman who died. Her hijab was not good enough, according to the morality police. She was wearing a headscarf but I guess some hair was showing. Arbitrary oppression is what has angered so many in Iran.
