Canadian indie group Alvvays (pronounced "Always") just released their third studio album, "Blue Rev," from which their latest single, "After the Earthquake," is taken. The lyrics were inspired by Japanese author Haruki Murakami's collection of short stories, "after the quake," written after the devastating 1995 Kobe earthquake. The group is fronted by singer/songwriter/rhythm guitarist Molly Rankin, of the Celtic folk family collective Rankin Family. Hope you enjoy.
