Quote Of The Day

From an exchange with a reporter (5:36 mark) determined to rain on President Biden's victory lap on the January jobs report of a staggering 517,000 jobs created, showing how to knock down Republican-wired Beltway media types:

"Do you take any blame," a reporter asked. "For inflation, Mr. President?"

"No," the President responded.

"Why not," the reporter asked.

"Because it was already there when I got here, man," the President responded. "Remember what the economy was like when I got here? Jobs were hemorraging. Inflation was rising. We weren't manufacturing a damn thing here. We were in real economic difficulty. That's why I don't." (our emphasis)

As Biden notes, inflation has been declining overall for several months, even though the cost of some items remains high. But don't tell that to those "whataboutism" reporters determined to keep pushing Republican themes and lies.
