Just days after Ukrainian sea drones damaged war criminal Vladimir Putin's showcase Kerch Bridge between Russia and Ukrainian Crimea, a major ammunition supply depot in Crimea was blown up, forcing an evacuation of four villages near where the Russians located the depot. According to BBC's report, explosions went on for hours, indicating the size of the depot. Russia has been using Crimea as a staging and resupply area since it has been out of the range of Ukrainian artillery, but the provision of the Storm Shadow cruise missile by the U.K. has made those "safe" areas vulnerable.
Meanwhile, Russia launched a vicious overnight attack on the major Ukrainian port of Odesa for the second night in a row, apparently in retaliation for the attack on the Kerch Bridge:
"Russia launched an attack on Odesa early Wednesday, the second night in a row the southern port city has been targeted.
Ukraine's air defenses were repelling a Russian attack, a spokesperson for Ukraine's Odesa military administration said.
'More Kalibr (cruise missile) launches have been documented from the Black Sea,' spokesperson Serhiy Bratchuk said on Telegram.
A CNN team in Odesa witnessed a sustained barrage from the air defense near the direction of the port. The team also heard at least three large bangs."
The fact that the cruise missile launches have been coming from Russian ships in the Black Sea would suggest that those ships may become priority targets for Ukrainian attack when they're docked in Russia's Sevastopol naval facility. In the early weeks of the war, Ukraine sank Russia's Black Sea flagship Moskva, a key loss for the militarily and in prestige for the invaders.
