Trump Indicted On Four Counts In January 6 Coup Case

 

From Associated Press, breaking news:

"Donald Trump was charged Tuesday in a Justice Department investigation into his efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election in the run-up to the violent riot by his supporters at the U.S. Capitol.

The charges include conspiracy to defraud the United States government and witness tampering.

The indictment, the third criminal case brought against the former president as he seeks to reclaim the White House in 2024, follows a long-running federal investigation into schemes by Trump and his allies to subvert the peaceful transfer of power and keep him in office despite a decisive loss to Joe Biden."

The counts in the indictment are conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against civil rights.

The Malignant Loser received a target letter two weeks ago, and the grand jury in this case convened and voted the indictment against the twice impeached disgraced Malignant Loser. CNN reports that there are also six unindicted co-conspirators listed:

"Special Counsel Jack Smith included six unindicted and unnamed co-conspirators in his indictment against Donald Trump as part of the federal 2020 election subversion probe.  

Among the six are four unnamed attorneys who allegedly aided Trump in his effort to subvert the 2020 election results.

Also included is one unnamed Justice Department official who 'attempted to use the Justice Department to open sham election crime investigations and influence state legislatures with knowingly false claims of election fraud.'  

Smith also mentions an unnamed 'political consultant who helped implement a plan to submit fraudulent slates of presidential electors to obstruct the certification proceeding.'” 

That last "consultant" may well be corrupt, delusional Rudy "Toot Toot" Giuliani. The Malignant Loser has been summoned to appear before a magistrate on Thursday in Washington, D.C.
