Judge Jones ordered the parties to file briefs addressing what he's supposed to do if some of he indicted conduct was within the scope of Chief of Staff ("COS") duties, and some wasn't. I've read both briefs, & the Willis brief is MUCH stronger. 1/ https://t.co/B6K6jcq6rW
A defense is not "colorable" unless it is capable of defeating the count. And on this argument, it's not just that Willis "gets the better of it." Meadows lawyers didn't even get to it.
