House Squeaker Kevin McCarthy, feeling the wrath of his extreme right wing in the House, by a vote of 216 to 210 was voted out as Speaker, a position he craved for a decade culminating in an embarrassing 15 roll call votes last January. In the historic vote, all Dems present voted to oust McCarthy, while eight Republicans, led by radical right-wing loon Rep. Matt "Teen Spirit" Gaetz (Secession-FL) voted to oust the untrustworthy McCarthy.
Diminutive McCarthy ally Rep. Patrick McHenry (Secession-NC) was named interim speaker, and angrily declared a recess of the House subject to the call of the chair.
