Climate change denier and anti- vaxx crank presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., made it official yesterday, declaring an independent run for the presidency in a glitch- filled launch. Four of his siblings were not amused:
The decision of our brother Bobby to run as a third party candidate against Joe Biden is dangerous to our country. Bobby might share the same name as our father, but he does not share the same values, vision or judgment. Today's announcement is deeply saddening for us. We denounce his candidacy and believe it to be perilous for our country.

The list of quixotic, but potentially democracy-damaging, candidates also includes New Age spiritualist and budding Harold Stassen of the Democratic Party Marianne Williamson and self-enamored Brother Cornel West, who is also running as an independent. Meanwhile, the "No Labels" group has yet to arrive at a Republican-lite candidate for its doomed- but- dangerous ticket, and we breathlessly await the choices of the Green, Libertarian, and Constitution parties, and the choices of various even smaller left and right splinter parties.
Kennedy, when he was running ostensibly as a Democrat, caused a thrill to go up the legs of MAGAt Republicans. Now that he's an independent, and polls have shown that he might draw votes from the Malignant Loser, the MAGAts are going after him. Sad!
