After watching their MAGA party sink in disarray in Michigan, Republicans finally ousted their controversial, extremist election-denying Party chair Kristina Karamo in a vote yesterday. A Trumpian election-denier through and through, Karamo stated that the vote had no legitimacy, and that "I am still chair of the Michigan Republican Party."
Under Karamo's incompetent management, the Michigan Republican Party's finances have been drained and not replenished. From the first linked report:
"Since Karamo’s ascension, the Michigan GOP has been plagued by internal strife and lackluster finances. Many local Republican leaders have blamed Karamo’s leadership and her efforts to focus on grassroots fundraising rather than large-dollar donations.
A CNN investigation published in late 2023 found the party’s financial problems had become so bad that an internal report revealed the state party had a net income of just $71,000 over a nine-month period that ended with it $600,000 in debt." (our emphasis)
However, we're certain with her fanatic loyalty to the Malignant Loser, and her persistent denial of reality, she'll fit in somewhere in the Malignant Loser's entourage.
