Famed Watergate reporter Carl Bernstein appeared on CNN last night, and weighed in on what the Malignant Loser and his lawyers know is at the heart of his election fraud / insurrection actions:
"Trump also knows that the narrative of what he has done is one of sedition. He attempted a coup to keep the President of the United States, Joseph Biden, who was duly elected, from taking office.
A coup such as we have never experienced. An act of sedition. There is a narrative to this case, that Donald Trump and those around him, do not want to see explored.
Because if it is explored, if it is made public, if it is done tick-tock, one hour after the other, so that we see how he obstructed that election on January 6th — how he prepared in the months before to obstruct that election – we will get a picture of criminality of a president of the United States such as we have never seen in our history. Trump knows that. His lawyers know it." (our emphasis)
With his loyal followers in the violent Proud Boys and Oath Keepers having already been convicted and sentenced for seditious conspiracy, it's unimaginable that the Malignant Loser wouldn't be considered the head seditionist, although that's not one of the four felony charges against him in Special Counsel Jack Smith's indictment. With successful convictions of Trump's street goons on seditious conspiracy charges, we would hope a charge of sedition also would be brought against the Malignant Loser before the current March 4 start date for the trial.
