The Sundowning Stupid Seditionist

Catching up on some recent droppings from Dolt 45.

Refusing to sign Illinois' pledge not to support insurrection:

Republican polling leader Donald Trump did not sign a loyalty oath requested of candidates for election in Illinois that asks, among other things, to swear that they won’t support overthrowing the government, according to an analysis of candidate petitions by the local news outlets WBEZ and Chicago Sun-Times. [snip]

“For the entirety of our nation’s history, presidents have put their hand on the Bible and sworn to protect and uphold the Constitution of the United States — and Donald Trump can’t bring himself to sign a piece of paper saying he won’t attempt a coup to overthrow our government,” said Michael Tyler, communications director for the Biden campaign.

Would the Malignant Loser abide by a pledge anyway?  Hah!

The Malignant Loser threatens the Supreme Court:

Former President Trump warned Friday that there will be “big trouble” if the Supreme Court does not rule in his favor on his eligibility for the 2024 presidential ballot.

The Supreme Court is set to hear the Colorado case after the state’s Supreme Court determined last month that Trump should not be on the primary ballot due to his involvement in the Jan. 6 insurrection.

“I just hope we get fair treatment,” Trump said at an Iowa rally Friday. “Because if we don’t, our country’s in big, big trouble. Does everybody understand what I’m saying?”

Yes, we know.  May your threats blow up in your sagging orange face.

The Malignant Loser wants the insurrectionists ("hostages") released:

Later Saturday, in Clinton, Iowa, he called on President Biden to release those who were detained. “You know what they ought to do?” Trump said. “They ought to release the J6 hostages. They’ve suffered enough. I call them hostages. Some people call them prisoners. I call them hostages. Release the J6 hostages, Joe. Release them, Joe. You can do it real easy, Joe.”

If there was ever any doubt about this traitor's past actions or future intentions...

The Malignant Loser on how the Civil War could have been avoided through negotiation:

"So many mistakes were made. See there was something that I think could have been negotiated, to be honest with you.  I think you could've negotiated that.  [snip] But I think it's, you know Abraham Lincoln of course, if he'd negotiated it, we probably wouldn't even know who Abraham Lincoln was."

Blissfully ignorant of any history that doesn't include the name "Trump," he has no inkling of the negotiations that took place prior to the Civil War intended to keep the Union together - the Missouri Compromise and the Kansas-Nebraska Act.  What does this moron think would be a successful outcome of further negotiation, since slave states were determined to hold on to their "property"?  No wonder he loves the "poorly educated";  he's one of them.

The Malignant Loser mocks Biden's speech impediment:

... A few hours after Biden had given a sweeping denunciation of Trump, calling him a sore loser and a threat to American democracy, the former president made fun of Biden’s childhood speaking impediment.

“Did you see him? He was stuttering through the whole thing,” Trump said to a chuckling crowd on Friday in Sioux Center, Iowa. “He’s saying I’m a threat to democracy.”

“’He’s a threat to d-d-democracy,’” he continued, pretending to stutter. “Couldn’t read the word.”

The remark was not true; Biden said the word “democracy” 29 times in his speech, never stuttering over it. Trump’s comment also marked a particularly crass form of politics that he has exhibited throughout his career that places politeness and human decency at the center of the 2024 presidential election.

Biden’s stutter is something that he has talked about openly, referencing it as something he attempted to overcome. He has used it to connect with others who stutter, and he has also spoken about how being made fun of for it gave him a window into dealing with bullies.

Bullies like the Malignant Loser.

The Malignant Loser on the recent shootings at a high school in Perry, Iowa:

“It’s just horrible, so surprising to see it here. But have to get over it, we have to move forward.”

Get over it?  The narcissistic sociopath should say that to the faces of the parents of the sixth- grader who died, and the seven others who were wounded, some critically, by 17-year-old wielding an assault rifle.  But, remember, there are no true victims in life, except the one being hounded by fake news, fake scandals, fake elections, and fake indictments!

What's that term?  The banality of evil.
