If you're a long time fan of the Rolling Stones, you'll know that the founder and original leader of the band and the one who gave the band its name was multi-instrumentalist Brian Jones. He auditioned and hired Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, who later became the iconic core of the group. Jones's 82nd birthday would have been today, had he not spiraled into depression, drugs and alcoholism and died in 1969 at the age of 27, joining the "27 Club" of musicians who died at that age.
