There were some memorable ads during the Super Bowl LVIII broadcast last night. The Dunkin' Donuts ad featuring Ben Affleck and Matt Damon interrupting a J-Lo recording session, the BMW ad with Christopher Walken enduring random folks trying to imitate him, and the touching Google Pixel SB ad focused on the visually impaired are being singled out as the best. Among the misfires and just plain weird ones were the RFK, Jr., campaign ad that used footage from his uncle JFK's 1960 campaign (you're no JFK, Robert), and the foot- washing one from a Christian organization.
One that wasn't new, but gave a deserved punch to right-wing crashing car mogul Elon Musk, was the ad critical of Tesla's autopilot "technology" which fails to disengage when conditions beyond its scope warrant. This is the second year the ad critical of Tesla's autopilot has aired during the Super Bowl. The ad calls for a boycott of Tesla until the problem is resolved, and is paid for by entrepreneur Dan O'Dowd:
