Trone as ballots continued to trickle in..." -- Hallie Miller, The Baltimore Banner. Surprise surprise. When it was all over, and after being outspent by 10- to- 1, the close race the pollsters predicted turned out to be a 12- point Alsobrooks blowout.
Also Dewey defeats Truman.
I was stunned by this result. Maybe I should get out more.
ReplyDeleteI voted for Trone for two reasons, 1) I think a former US Rep has better experience for the Senate than a County Executive, and 2) I thought he'd be better able to reach the white suburban men we need to peel away from Larry Hogan.
There's a lot riding on this...
