It's important that people be reminded of the stakes in the election, and that while the vast differences in policies between the two parties is a critically important metric, nothing is more important than saving our 248- year- old, imperfect experiment in democracy from fascist Trumpism. This video, played at last night's DNC, reminds us once again of the most basic difference between the Democratic Party and the Trump cult, and of the latter's continuing existential threat to our democracy.
