Happy felon #FAFO day! Even though this sentencing won’t have much teeth, the fact that he will go down in history as a felon burns his biscuits. And I am here for it!

"Children, I want this to be an important lesson to you. If you do bad things, like break the law—even a lot—you are going to have to pay the consequences: nothing. Well, other than getting your job back. Because those are the rules in America, a land that cherishes justice."

I discussed the climate change-fueled Southern California wildfires and the disinformation that Trump & enablers are promoting about them last night with Stephanie Ruhle on #MSNBC #11thHour: www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DCH...

What's that Musk-y smell?  The rot spreads --

In case you missed it last night, Elon Musk held a hour-long conversation on here with Alice Weidel, the leader of far-right German party AfD, which has deep ties to neo-Nazis. Their conclusion? "Hitler was a communist" www.wired.com/story/elon-m...

Thanks Biden and Democrats! --

JUST IN: The U.S. added 256,000 jobs in December, surpassing expectations and bringing the total for 2024 to 2.2 million. The unemployment rate dipped to 4.1%, and wages grew 3.9% over the past year, far outpacing inflation.

Full story is more complicated, but still: This concludes 5 Dem presidential terms, 20 years, with zero recessions. Over the same period, 6 Republican presidential terms, 24 years, with five recessions - only Reagan's second term didn't have one.

  1. As a 40+ year fire protection engineer I can confirm that everything R leadership and media says about the fire is complete nonsense. Community fire protection is not designed for fire widely spread by wind borne embers anywhere in the world. It is impractical to do so. Rebuilding with space separation between clusters of buildings, and using noncombustible building materials is about the only way to minimize damage from this fire scenario. Remember when the problem with LA in the winter was too much rain and mudslides?
