Massive Ukrainian Drone Attack On Moscow

Service at Moscow's airports was halted earlier today after a massive drone attack was launched by Ukraine, CNN reports:

"Russia said it was hit by a 'massive' Ukrainian drone attack overnight Tuesday, just hours before critical talks between officials from Washington and Kyiv began.

Moscow’s defense ministry said it had downed 343 drones it claimed Ukraine had fired at Russia, of which 91 had targeted the Moscow region. It also said six Ukrainian strike drones were intercepted near Russia’s Kursk nuclear power plant.

If the figure is confirmed, the aerial attacks would represent one of the largest on Russia since its invasion of Ukraine.

Falling debris damaged buildings in Moscow, in what mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on Telegram was a 'most massive' attack. [snip]

The attacks forced two Moscow airports to close for safety reasons, as well as two airports east of the city, according to state-run news agency TASS, adding that several flights to Moscow were redirected to other airports."  (our emphasis)

As their representatives meet today in Saudi Arabia with Secretary of State Marco "Lil' Marco" Rubio, Ukraine is sending the message to Moscow, as well as to Moscow's friend in the White House, that they can still punch back hard after weeks of Russian missile attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure and civilian targets. They still have "cards" to play despite what Putin's puppet the Malignant Fascist has been told by the Kremlin.

Ukraine is becoming the drone manufacturing leader of the world, as it's learned to deploy them not only internally, but against Russia, though it needs the restoration of U.S. intelligence assets to effectively target them. The MF knows that, which is why he suspended that vital service almost certainly at Putin's request.
