Mid-Week Song

 

We last featured indie folk artist Gregory Alan Isakov in 2016, with his song "Amsterdam." He's had more success since, earning a Grammy nomination in 2019 for his folk album "Evening Machines."  Isakov lists Leonard Cohen and Bruce Springsteen as influences on his music. His new album "Appaloosa Bones" is coming out in August, and he's released a single from that album, "The Fall."

Mid-Week Amsterdam Song

Indie folk singer Gregory Alan Isakov has a growing following here and worldwide. He's been on tour for many of his 36 years, and his songs have appeared on the soundtracks of movies and television shows over the past few years.  His composition, "Amsterdam" (one of the world's most enchanting cities) is our song choice today.
