Republican Family Values, Hide The Affair Edition

Married teahadist Michigan state Rep. Todd "Off Course" Courser thought he was being clever when he tried to fake rumors of a gay encounter to cover up his actual affair with married fellow teahadist state Rep. Cindy "The Gambit" Gamrat (or as he put it, "inoculating the herd [fellow teahadists]" for when the truth of his actual affair came out). Unfortunately, when Off Course tried to enlist the aid of a reluctant staff member, whom he subsequently fired, the staff member went public.  The Gambit also tried the same strategy with a staff member, whom she fired for not cooperating with the cover up.

The two tea partying partiers have a record of opposing same-sex marriage (they want to spare gays and lesbians from cheating in a marriage like they did, no doubt), supporting legislation to require ministers to sign marriage certificates in order to suppress same-sex marriages.  Expect a sorrowful "second chance" speech from one or both, along with tearful begging for forgiveness from their families, followed not long after by their political rehabilitation by their fellow delusional and hypocritical teahadists.
