Chutzpah

Mavericky McBush campaign manager Slick Rick Davis may not have much of a chin, but he sure does have chutzpah. Here's what the chinless wonder said about Sen. Obama's joking about none of the presidents on the currency looking like him:

"Barack Obama has played the race card, and he played it from the bottom of the deck. It's divisive, negative, shameful and wrong."

Davis is a hack's hack. A professional liar, but not a very good one. ("Race card?" He works for the party of "Willie Horton," Jesse Helms and Strom Thurmond, for God's sake.) The McBush campaign is just throwing as much crap at the wall as it possibly can to see what sticks. (Hint: this "playing the race card" slid off the wall immediately.) They desperately want the campaign to be about Obama, and not about the catastrophic failures of the Rethug regime of the past 7 years. It's up to the Obama campaign to keep hammering them on those failures and how Democrats will correct them, and not let this transparent hackery distract voters.

Meanwhile, check out how Mavericky skitters away from CNN/Fox-Lite's John King when pressed about the "race card" tack.
