The corrupt Malignant Fascist's embrace of the term "super intelligence" as a replacement for artificial intelligence on the surface seems like another of his autocratic, delusional acts to rebrand anything he can think of. However, it appears that there may be a corrupt motive behind the MF's demand that the term super intelligence be used, and it relates to domain names and their purchase. From RawStory:
"President Donald Trump’s months-long fixation on rebranding the term artificial intelligence (AI) may be a cover for something far more sinister, according to a theory floated Tuesday by journalist and professor Adam Cochran. [snip]
On Tuesday, Trump signed an executive order to officially rename the term artificial intelligence to 'super intelligence.'
Cochran, an independent journalist and adjunct professor of information science at Conestoga College in Ontario, suggested that the move was actually 'another criminal plot to enrich the Trump family.'
As noted by Cochran, internet domain names ending with “.ai” have been a “hot commodity” since the release of OpenAI’s ChatGPT and other generative AI chatbots. Predictably, domain names ending with “.si” have been less sought after — that is, until Trump started promoting and advocating for the use of the term “SI.” [snip]
....despite Trump not seriously publicly pushing to rebrand artificial intelligence until earlier this month, the “.si” domain name “suddenly” became “popular with domain investors” in June, the trade publication Domain Name Wire reported at the time, leading Cochran to suspect that some in Trump’s inner circle had been tipped off on the official name change in advance.
'Since Trump’s announcement .si domain have seen MILLIONS of dollars in turn over. Much of it going to domains that were registered in the last 60 days before the announcement,' Cochran wrote." (our emphasis)
Here's a link to Cochran's analysis. The MF, who has no grasp of the AI technology or dangers, but who is heavily invested in the business, would almost certainly been apprised of the potential market value for ".si" domain names, as well as his inner circle and family. By sitting on .si domains until demand increased to sell the names to investors and firms, millions of dollars have already changed hands. The original registerers of the .si domain names should be of interest to investigators. It would be of no surprise if most, if not all, had connections to the MF's regime and family.
BONUS: The agreement on the super intelligence accord that was signed by tech oligarchs and Trump misspelled "Unites States."
It's hard to miss all the MAGA crime and corruption on the main stage in Washington, DC, but there's plenty going on further down the MAGA Republican food chain. Two Republicans, two crime sprees.
Utah:
State Representative Trevor Lee has been charged with multiple felonies after allegedly taking thousands of dollars from a local company in cash advances in order to submit false income statements. He has since announced his resignation.Lee has been charged with one count of communications fraud over $5000, one count of mortgage fraud over $5000 (both second-degree felonies), and one count of forgery (third-degree felony). He is also charged with possessing a forgery device (third-degree felony).
According to court documents, Lee requested cash advances from a company to show increased income and told the company CEO that he would make them “whole” by securing the company a government contract with Hill Air Force Base.
Lee also allegedly forged the company’s CEO’s signature in order to obtain a housing loan. The loan, which was $1,000,000 required multiple documents showing Lee’s salary. However, he allegedly submitted fraudulent documents to the loaning company, a forged employment contract and a loan application that included $93,000 in cash advances.
He also submitted an employment offer letter that “he knew did not reflect genuine employment or payable income,” court documents state.
Lee has served District 16 since 2023 and was set to leave office in 2027 after losing re-election. However, in a statement released today, the legislature confirmed that Lee would be resigning from the House of Representatives effective immediately. [snip]
Lee first came under scrutiny for alleged financial misdeeds earlier this year, when several individuals created a website titled stoptrevorlee.com. The website highlighted numerous accusations from local companies against Lee.
According to that website, Lee received numerous checks from a pest control company and would cash them using his bank’s mobile deposit feature. Then, he would alter the check number and deposit it again.
Allegedly, Lee defrauded the pest control company of $3,100. However, the company said they would not press charges but told him they never wanted to see him in the public eye. Lee has not been criminally charged in relation to this incident....

The Utah Republican sponsored/cosponsored multiple bills while in office, including one that would allow licensed pharmacists to sell or dispense human-approved ivermectin over the counter without a prescription or healthcare provider consultation, which failed and was opposed by the Utah Medical Association and the Utah Nurses Association over risks of improper use and drug resistance.
Another bill would have renamed Harvey Milk Blvd. in Salt Lake City to Charlie Kirk Blvd., a thing which would not help his constituents put food on the table, but it would have owned the libs, right? ...

Gaea Powell echoed a core idea from the Make America Great Again movement when she ran for San Luis Obispo County clerk-recorder earlier this year, arguing for new voter ID rules to improve “election integrity” in the Central California county.
But it turns out this conservative candidate wasn’t following election laws herself.
A county jury found Powell guilty on nine counts of election fraud last week, including lying about her residence, unlawfully registering to vote and fraudulently voting. The charges stem from 2022 and 2024 elections, when Powell ran for mayor of Arroyo Grande, a small town near Pismo Beach. [snip]
Powell’s sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 19, according to the district attorney’s office for San Luis Obispo County. The office said in a news release that it was still determining a sentencing recommendation, and it did not state the maximum penalty she could face. Powell told SFGATE by text message that she is facing as much as eight years in jail. [snip]
Powell is a frequent public commentator at local meetings, and in 2023, she helped organize a rally for Moms for Liberty, a group associated with President Donald Trump’s MAGA movement, against diversity initiatives at nearby schools. Powell’s mayoral opponent in 2024 criticized her for bringing graphic “pornography” to a public meeting, which Powell said she found at a high school library.
Powell’s conviction relates to her activities in 2022 and 2024, when she ran for mayor in Arroyo Grande. The charges filed in April accused her of registering to vote and run for office while knowingly living outside of city limits. The charges also accused her of violating campaign finance laws...
Not surprisingly, she sounds like a mental case -- in other words, like a committed MAGAt. In their alternate universe, Democrats are always cheating (they're not), so it's perfectly fine for Republicans to cheat (they do). Their cult leader even told them as much. With their cult leader and Republicans in general, you can bet that every accusation is a confession.

The corrupt and lying Malignant Fascist has been running TV ads promoting himself and his policies with taxpayer funds, a clear violation of the law. Even his spineless cultists are being forced to offer their mild criticisms. The Associated Press reports:
"The White House has spent days fiercely defending three taxpayer-funded advertisements that glorify President Donald Trump and are nearing at least $1.5 million in public spending, calling them public service announcements like those used in past administrations. [snip]
But the Republican administration’s ads attracted mounting criticism on Monday, including from members of Trump’s own party.
“It shouldn’t be paid for with taxpayer dollars,” Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., told reporters.
“It would not have been something that I would have done. And I know that the White House is not covered by the same guidance that we are, but it’s not something that I would have done,” said Sen. Mike Rounds, another South Dakota Republican.
Multiple legal experts consulted by The Associated Press said the ads appear to run afoul of federal statutes, including a law against congressionally appropriated funds being used for “publicity or propaganda” and a law that limits the partisan political activities of government employees.
They said the new ads, which are airing on network and cable TV and streaming, differ from other administrations’ PSAs because they aren’t designed to help Americans access any specific program." (our emphasis)
The MF is sitting on a war chest of hundreds of millions of dollars that he could have used, but decided to stay true to form and violate another statute. Add this to the growing list of illegalities this common crook has committed.
We also wonder about his message about routing "the communists, Marxists" and not letting them come to power. When you realize he's been conflating communists and Marxists with Democrats in recent months, the "final battle" language used suggests if the outcome of the mid-term elections results in Democrats taking over the House and Senate, he's thinking of using a bogus national security threat to keep that from happening. A huge Democratic win will be the best antidote to his fever dreams of dictatorship.

Lavishly wining, dining and flattering Chinese President Xi wasn't the only disconcerting moment for the delusional Malignant Fascist in his over-the-top welcome. According to the U.S.'s ambassador to China, the kowtowing MF also suggested that China could buy weapons from us. From NBC News:
"President Donald Trump has justified the pending U.S. arms sale to Taiwan to Chinese President Xi Jinping by downplaying it as just one of many sales Washington makes around the world — even asking Xi if he’d be in the market for U.S. arms, Trump’s ambassador to China said on Sunday.
David Perdue said Trump raised the prospect of the arms sales from the U.S. to its ascendant geopolitical rival, an unlikely offer that if consummated would upend generations of U.S. policy toward China and Taiwan and potentially expose U.S. technology to a potential foe. Perdue, speaking to Shannon Bream on “Fox News Sunday” days after Trump hosted Xi for a state visit in Washington, didn’t specify when the offer was made." (our emphasis)
Exposing U.S. classified weapons technology to a foreign adversary would not seem to have crossed the diseased mind of the MF, who casually displayed classified documents to visitors at his Mar-a-Lardo estate. For this treasonous clown, a sale is a sale, and if he or his family dip their beaks in the profits, all the better.
The MF also has stalled a major arms shipment to Taiwan to curry favor with the communist dictator, who is sizing the MF up regarding the U.S.' commitment to Taiwan's self defense, which is guaranteed by statute.

It’s been nearly a century since Kansas voters sent a Democrat to the Senate.
But Adam Hamilton, a prominent pastor, is looking to make that jump as Republicans grow more and more unsettled about incumbent GOP Sen. Roger Marshall’s chances in the heartland.
“It’s all or nothing in a sense, because the story is that after 96 years, a Democrat could win a Senate seat in Kansas, but it also could be that there’s a reason for it not happening in 96 years, that Marshall pulls it out simply because it’s so difficult,” said Bob Beatty, professor of political science at Washburn University in Topeka.
Elections analysts have moved the Kansas Senate race to the left in recent weeks as polls indicate that, like elsewhere around the country, President Trump’s low approval rating is dragging down Republican candidates. Cook Political Report and Sabato’s Crystal Ball at the University of Virginia both shifted the race to “Lean Republican” from “Likely Republican” last week.
Kansas is generally a red state, although it has sometimes elected moderate Democratic governors. Trump won Kansas in 2024 by 16 points. But his approval rating in the state now hovers around 40 percent, while Hamilton polls slightly ahead of Marshall at 45 percent to 43 percent, according to a recent Emerson College/Nexstar poll. That mirrors many other red states — like nearby Iowa — where Republican candidates are facing negative public opinion about tariffs, the war in Iran and the resulting high prices.
Beatty said Hamilton is a uniquely strong Democratic contender to capitalize on that national trend. Hamilton has never held political office but has been the pastor of a network of United Methodist churches he founded in the Kansas City metro area for 36 years...

If Hamilton flips this deep red seat, it will truly be a blue tsunami mid-term election.
U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Mike Waltz had a difficult time on Sunday articulating what exactly President Donald Trump is still trying to accomplish in Iran, attempting to push the narrative that the U.S. is trying to destroy the country’s nuclear capabilities despite the president repeatedly claiming they are already “obliterated.”
“We know that we obliterated their ability to enrich in a number of these facilities. But we also know they moved and dispersed highly enriched uranium,” Waltz told NBC’s “Meet the Press” after Kristen Welker aired a clip of Trump himself claiming the U.S. has already addressed Iran’s nuclear capabilities.
On Saturday, Trump rejected an Iranian proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz within seven days and end the war, saying, “They want to make a deal … because they’re losing so badly.” Asked about the rejection, Waltz defended the rejection Sunday, telling CNN’s “State of the Union” Iran was “asking for everything up front” and that Trump is “just not confident that the Iranians are coming in good faith.” {Ed.: if there's anyone who knows about bad faith, it's the Malignant Fascist and his lickspittle regime.]
During his speech in the U.N. General Assembly, Trump threatened to “annihilate” Iran. A recent Wall Street Journal report also says the president is expected to resume bombing Iran following the midterm elections. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told “Meet the Press” that Iran is prepared for a resumption of aggression.
“We stand firm in the face of any new aggression, even if it comes to a doomsday war,” Araghchi said. “But at the same time, we stand ready for diplomacy. It is up to President Trump to choose.”

Eight gunmen with AK-47 rifles and pistols shot patrons outside a bar and then moved inside to continue their deadly rampage, killing at least 17 people Saturday in one of three mass shootings in South Africa in the space of six days this week.
A total of at least 38 people were killed and nearly 30 were wounded in the separate late-night shootings in impoverished townships near South Africa’s three biggest cities. Two of the massacres happened in the space of a few hours late Saturday night and in the predawn hours of Sunday.
South Africa’s mass shootings often differ from lone gunman mass shootings seen in the United States and other countries. The shootings in South Africa are mostly connected to criminality, rather than ideological motive or personal grievance. [snip]
Authorities say many of the mass shootings are linked to criminal gangs fighting turf wars or using violence to establish control over communities and areas.
Saturday night’s mass shooting at the bar near Johannesburg occurred in an area where residents said there was a history of violence by illegal mining gangs. The acting provincial commissioner said police were investigating a possible lead that the shooting was a revenge attack as one of the victims was connected to a previous shooting.
Illegal mining gangs are notorious for terrorizing communities in the gold-mining areas around the Johannesburg region, where they are involved in the lucrative illicit gold trade. In other parts of the country, including Cape Town, gangs involved in selling illegal drugs or extortion rackets have been responsible for mass shootings...
Until these over-the-top mass shootings, it's likely few people had heard of this scope of gang violence in South Africa. It's been associated with gang violence in Mexico and South America involving drug cartels for a long time, but obviously it's a problem that spans the world. And everywhere, the innocent often pay with their lives along with the criminals.
