Night #3

Speeches by President Clinton, Sen. John Kerry, and VP candidate Joe Biden capped an exciting day that saw Sen. Hillary Clinton step to the microphone and call for the nomination of Barack Obama by acclamation to thunderous cheers. That was a truly riveting moment that should stop the "Obama - Clinton rift" story line in the mainstream media. . . for an hour or so. Other nice touches were the video tributes to the Armed Forces and the poignant, heartfelt introduction given for Sen. Biden by his son, who is about to ship off to Iraq.

All of the speeches did a good job of spotlighting St. John McHowmanyhomes' positions that would ensure another 4 years of Dumbya's disastrous economic, social and foreign policy direction. Voting 90 percent of the time with the Chimpster doesn't make you a "maverick" (as Sen. Casey said Tuesday) it makes you a "sidekick."
