Obama-Biden

So it's Obama-Biden in 2008. Sen. Biden seemed to be the consensus VP candidate for the past week or so, and he's a solid choice. Foreign policy expertise, working class background, Catholic, tough debater. All of which should help Sen. Obama, particularly among blue collar ethnic voters in Pennsylvania and Ohio. Keeping our fingers crossed.

The next shoe to drop is how Sen. Clinton's supporters react during and after next week's convention in Denver. Some diehard nutballs (and possible Rethug infiltrators - - remember Limpballs' "Operation Chaos") will be out in force in Denver, jumping in front of every news camera and shouting "we wuz robbed." But that was almost inevitable. Bill Clinton's post-White House financial dealings, in addition to the image of a Clinton restoration in a "change" election, was rumored to be the deal breaker for Hillary's place on the ticket. Plus the miles of video tape of her putting Obama down during the primaries wouldn't have helped matters.
