The Huffington Post has a good sampling of reactions to St. John McAncient's snoozer at the Rethuglican convention last night. Most of the opinions, even those of Rethug pundits, were that the speech was decidedly underwhelming and flat. Some delegates napped (probably in the TV audience as well), and the speech wandered and presented no new ideas. After Who? read her speech Wednesday night, McAncient had a tough act to follow among the assembled wingers. The majority of Rethugs are energized by Gov. Who?'s far-right record and beliefs, and not by their Presidential candidate. His speech didn't change that.
