Unemployment figures out for the month of August jumped to 6.1 percent, a 5-year high. Some 605,000 Americans have lost their jobs so far in 2008.
It's incredible that McBush is getting over 40% in the polls. Which party has been in the White House for 8 years, and controlled Congress for 6 of the last 8? Many in that 40% are not paying attention, or simply don't care.
