Christopher Buckley, libertarian son of conservative icon and founder of the National Review, William F. Buckley, has endorsed Sen. Obama for President. Saying that his father, "spent my life separating the Right from the kooks", it appears that the kooks are now in charge. He lambastes Palin as "an embarassment, and a dangerous one at that," and asks of McNasty, "what on earth could he have been thinking?" He says "this campaign has changed John McCain. It has made him inauthentic," and that his "ninth inning attack ads are mean-spirited and pointless."
Good for him.
