Krugman Wins Nobel
Good news that Paul Krugman, economics professor at Princeton University and progressive op-ed columnist for the New York Times, won the 2008 Nobel Prize for economics, it was announced today. Krugman is a strong critic of the Rethug/McSame economics model, which is characterized by corporate breaks for exporting jobs, tax cuts for the wealthiest, and deregulation of the economy.
