Obama's Haul

The Obama campaign announced yesterday that it received a mind-boggling $150 million in campaign contributions in September. By comparison, he collected $66 million in August. With this vast haul, he can afford to spend, for example, $5 million in reddish West Virginia and elsewhere to keep McAngry running around to defend his shaky base. In many states, he's outspending McAngry on TV advertising by 3 or 4 to 1.

Andrea "Ms. Greenspan" Mitchell said yesterday on Meet the Press that Obama could buy so much airtime that McAngry would be shut out of the TV markets. Might not be a bad idea for McAngry; have you seen his latest, in which he begins, "The last eight years haven't worked very well, have they?" No, they haven't, Einstein, and thanks for voting with Dumbya over 90% of the time.

Meanwhile, McAngry announced that he will be holding a bake sale next Thursday in Cowpie, Oklahoma. Mmmm. Love that earthy flavor!!
