Speakers at the "conferenece" promoted English language-only policies, and mocked Judge Sonia Sotomayor's reading of what they called "children's classics" while a student at Princeton. Looks like they're taking advice from Dan Quayle.
One of the comments after the original post said that Think Progress made a mistake themselves, claiming "grammar" was incorrect.
