Palin and the Politics of Resentment
Frank Rich has the best analysis of the emotion that overcomes reason when Rethugs think about the manifestly unqualified Winky You Betcha (and when they elect a racist as their "Young" Rethug chair).
I forgot to mention this article to you when we spoke earlier. Even though she's popular with the base, I think she ultimately divides their party because there are many educated Wall Street Rethugs that think she's an idiot. Palin 2012!
