Let's Have a Tea Party!

Some Rethugs are learning that when you start a fire, sometimes you get burned. Texas Rethug Sen. John "Big Bad John" Cornyn is concerned that the teabaggers that Rethug front groups like Freedomworks and Rethug media arm Fux "News" sponsored and promoted might form a third party. That would certainly undercut Rethug turn out and endanger the election of Rethugs in 2010 and beyond. It also assumes that, contrary to the conventional wisdom of the Village media, the teabaggers aren't really "independent" centrists at all, but are unaffiliated right-wing voters who almost always vote Rethuglican when the chips are down. Compare the signs at the Palin rallies during the campaign, with those at teabagger rallies: interchangeable. As our posting earlier today notes, there are some strange attitudes among Rethugs these days.
