34 Dems No More

Here's the list of the 34 Democrats- in- name- only who sided with the lying Rethugs and voted against health insurance reform: Adler, Altmire, Arcuri, Barrow, Berry, Boren, Boucher, Bright, Chandler, Childers, A. Davis, L. Davis, Edwards, Herseth-Sandlin, Holden, Kissell, Kratovil, Lipinski, Lynch, Marshall, Matheson, McIntyre, McMahon, Melancon, Minnick, Nye, Peterson, Ross, Shuler, Skelton, Space, Tanner, Taylor, Teague.

Until such time as they can be voted out of office, no self-respecting Democrat should allow them to hold any chairmanship or position of authority, nor should they receive any campaign support - financial or otherwise. Why so harsh? On the defining issue for Democrats this year (or any other year), on the issue that was make- or- break for their Democratic president, on the issue that has been in the party's platform for 50-plus years, on the issue whose lines were drawn between what was right for the American people and what was right for the Rethugs and their insurance industry allies, these 34 dwarfs were on the wrong side of history. May they be the first to pay for their betrayal.
