An interesting Quinnipiac poll shows that the majority of tea baggers appear to be angry white women, 55% to 45%. An overwhelming number are Rethuglican and are big supporters of half-term former Alaska Gov. Winky You Betcha and Minnesota loon Michele "I See Commies" Bachmann. Only 5% identify themselves as independents. These aren't the "PUMAs" that were die-hards for Hillary; these tea baggers supported McNasty in 2008 all the way.
That's why we strongly support Tea Party candidates running against fellow Rethugs in 2010 and beyond. That worked so well in the New York 23rd district race last fall, when the right wing vote split between the Tea Party idiot Doug Hoffman and the Rethug establishment choice.
