The Platform of Crazy

Minnesota loon Michele "I See Commies" Bachmann, fresh off of forming a tea bagger caucus in the House, is promising that if the Rethugs take control of the House in November, subpoenas will fly:

“Oh, I think that’s all we should do. I think that all we should do is issue subpoenas and have one hearing after another. And expose all the nonsense that is going on."

Their aim is virtually identical to the Rethug-controlled House in the late '90s, when impeachment of Clinton was the only thing they had. Their positive agenda? It's to take the country back to the late 19th century, gut all laws and regulations on corporations; suppress minorities; establish a swaggering, Imperial America that engages in global wars, and violate the Constitutional rights of Americans at home. Sounds a bit like where we were heading under Dumbya/The Dick, until voters put a stop to it. But will they remember that at the polls in November?
