Hitting the Rethugs Hard

President Obama came out swinging (finally?) at an Ohio appearance yesterday, calling out the Rethugs for their cynical partisan opposition to anything he proposes -- even small business tax cuts that they've supported in the past. As the President said,
“I realize in some cases there are genuine philosophical differences. . .They’re making the same calculation they made just before my inauguration: If I fail, they win.”
The President also went after House Minority Leader John "Boner" Boehner, a.k.a. John of Orange, saying,
“There were no new policies from Mr. Boehner. There were no new ideas. There was just the same philosophy that we had already tried during the decade that they were in power — the same philosophy that led to this mess in the first place: Cut more taxes for millionaires and cut more rules for corporations.”
Read the whole speech here. This is the message that needs to be hit every single day between now and the election, and not only by the President but by VP Biden, DNC Chair Tim Kaine, and every single timid Dem that is up for reelection. After 18 months of being on defense, it's time to play offense.
