Buh-bye?

It's being reported that Rethuglican National Committee Chairclown Michael "Shizzle" Steele's chances of winning reelection are getting slimmer by the day. Committee members are lining up with other candidates, and a solid 55 have said they would not support Shizzle under any circumstances. Ominously for the gaffe-machine that Shizzle became in his 2-year comedy show, none of the 168 Committee members said Shizzle was their second choice, ruling out his emergence as a "compromise" candidate. Don't be surprised if Shizzle decides to aggressively play the race card as he faces defeat.

For a puffed-up guy who thought he was the shadow President (no pun intended) and Obama's equal as head of the opposition party, it's been a long, steady decline in Shizzle's fortunes. As we've said in previous posts, we'll miss his knack for inappropriate, tone-deaf, and downright harebrained actions. Truly comic gold.
