Today would have been the 80th birthday of R & B legend Sam Cooke. Cooke, who was killed in 1964 at age 33 , was known for such classics as Chain Gang, You Send Me, Bring It On Home, Only Sixteen, Cupid, Having a Party, Another Saturday Night, and these two favorites:
