Lunch With A Legend

ESPN 980 radio in DC sponsored a "Lunch with a Legend" today with Redskins great Larry Brown. This Hackwhacker has had the pleasure of knowing Larry for several years; he's a terrific guy, very gracious and unassuming, with a dry sense of humor. He is active in local charities. His modest personality belies his records: #3 as the all-time Redskins rushing leader (when the NFL played fewer games per year), a 4-time All-Pro, and the 1972 NFL Most Valuable Player. It was gratifying to see a good turnout for Larry at Morton's in D.C.

Now, let's get him into the Hall of Fame in Canton, OH.
