Giant Among the Media; Among the Voters, Not So Much

If you only listened to the Beltway media, you'd think that their Golden Boy, bombastic bully New Jersey Gov. Chris "Slim" Christie was a god in his own state. Far from it, according to the latest Survey USA/WABC-NY poll: only 38% of the state's adults approve of the job he's doing, while 56% disapprove. Further, by a 2-to-1 margin, they think that Slim would make a worse President than President Obama.

But again, if you only got your information through the filter of Slim's adoring fans in the Beltway media, you'd think he was worth his weight in jelly doughnuts to New Jersey voters.
