Gov. Krispycreme's Bait and Switch
This past spring, when New Jersey Democratic lawmakers were pressured by New Jersey's obese blowhard Gov. Chris "Kris Krispycreme" Christie to cut budgets for public employee pensions and health reform, they thought Krispycreme would be satisfied if they voted for his budget. (ed.- six dozen doughnuts wouldn't satisfy him) They were wrong, as New Jersey Senate President Stephen Sweeney found out the hard way.
Gov. Blowhard not only made further cuts in programs that affect the poor and working families, he redirected $150 million in education funds to wealthy New Jersey suburban schools. On top of that, Krispycreme refused to talk to Sweeney about the bait-and-switch, and now Sweeney's furious.
While Krispycreme's gravitational pull may equal that of the moon, it's no reason to get sucked in by him on state budget matters. He thinks he's on a roll, with the Beltway Village media smooching his immense ass, so he'll continue to deal in bad faith as long as the Dems let him.
